The opportunity to put together a window exhibition at the Red Door Gallery was an exciting chance to do some new work and have fun exploring my love of buildings, trees, and treehouses.
The 'Iconic Treehouses' mini collection features illustrations of several famous architectural houses reimagined as treehouses.
A large poster print of a tree was combined with a 'build your own treehouse' kit of parts, which you can stick and re-stick on top of the print to create your own imaginary structures. I had a little help for the limited edition woodcut print diptych 'Forest Artefacts'- my puppy Matilda carefully selected the sticks from a nearby wood, which feature in the prints as the branches that rows of treehouses are perched on.
